PROVIDENCE CLASSICAL SCHOOL K-12

OUR IDENTITY AND MISSION

Providence Classical School, Rock Hill, SC.

Providence Classical School is a 4-day/week private, classical, Christian school in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

We exist to cultivate students of wisdom and virtue by educating to the highest standards of the classical, Christian tradition for the glory of God.

We are Classical

We provide a robust, liberal arts and sciences education that builds on the rich tradition of the Christian West. Students develop skills that teach them how to think (wisdom) and what to do (virtue). In addition to core subjects, our students study Latin, classical history and literature that fosters a deep knowledge of our classical, Christian heritage, and equips them to know and love that which is good, true and beautiful.

We Are Christ-centered

Providence is rooted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe he is before all things and in him all things hold together. We teach the supremacy of Christ, valuing his beauty, order, mercy and grace. Whether in learning or leisure, our classrooms and community are centered on God’s truth.

We Are Covenantal

As a covenantal school, our board, administration, faculty, staff and parents affirm the Confessional Statement set forth by The Gospel Coalition (thegospelcoalition.org) and uphold classical, Christian virtues. We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God and speaks with final authority concerning truth, morality, and the proper conduct of mankind.
